Frequently Asked Questions
1. How do Reeso™ solar outdoor lights work?
The lights use solar energy to recharge during daylight hours. Once it gets dark, the built-in light sensor automatically turns the lights on, providing convenient outdoor illumination without the need for electrical wiring.
2. Where can I install these solar lights?
These compact outdoor lights are suitable for areas such as stairs, decks, railings, garden pathways, fences and other outdoor spaces. Choose a location where the solar panel can receive sufficient direct sunlight during the day.
3. Do the lights need wires or electricity?
No. The lights are designed for wireless solar-powered operation. They recharge using sunlight during the day and provide illumination after dark, helping eliminate the need for connecting them to a traditional electrical power source.
4. Are the Reeso™ solar lights suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. The lights feature an IP44-rated design intended for everyday outdoor conditions and protection against water splashes. They are suitable for outdoor areas such as stairs, decks, gardens, railings and pathways. Avoid submerging the lights in water.
5. How do I get the best performance from the solar lights?
Install each light in a location where the solar panel receives good direct sunlight during the day. Keep the solar panel reasonably clean and avoid placing the light in heavily shaded areas. Allow sufficient daylight charging before expecting longer nighttime illumination.
